Red for the cancer, red for the wealthy, red for the drink that's mixed with suicide.

All these years, I've been whining about only having one house to visit for Chinese New Year every year which bores the hell outta me because all I do is awkwardly attempt to socialize with relatives that I barely interact with for the first hour before spending the rest of the day slouching on the couch or munching on the goodies and then sulking at the weight I've put on after that. I mean I still whine about it, but thank god there's still only one house to visit this year because that leaves me with more time to cope with the pre-exam stress. The only pity would be the lack of a TK Band batch visiting this year though :-(

Also, this year would mark the first CNY that I've spontaneously wrapped myself in red for (even though the zodiac predictions said I had to wear black/ grey/ yellow this year and yes I am superstitious about zodiac).

Well well, happy holidays everyone! :-)

Issues (the worst of them)

It's either just me or every blood-related being is out to make me burst a vein today, but I'd trust that it's the latter because it can't be my red flowers -- they've withered like a fucking week ago.

Quaquaversal

meth-destroyed-our-love:

Me in school.Me at home.Me with friends.Me in public.Me in life.

Me in school.
Me at home.
Me with friends.
Me in public.
Me in life.

Sometimes I question myself for the things I do and the words I say but most of the times I grow too dizzy from the quaquaversalness of my thoughts so.... I've yet to come to an answer.

"I've seen the best in you, so how would you expect me to acknowledge you at a compromise?"

Don't you worry, child

Last presentation, last day of school for the semester, last Running Man episode until after my exams, and this might just be the last of me (or at least until my exams are over).

A zoo isn't a zoo without Ah Meng

Today, Harvind left for Australia.
They say you never know how much one means to you until he's gone, and it's true.

Our connection began paper thin and our conversations were kept minimal, until that night at the chalet. Something told me it was all right to go ahead and open up. That night, I looked at you as a brand new Harvind; no more the ah meng I knew from the zoo of a class we were. For the record, you were capable of of making me sinfully nod my head to every "insult" you cast upon me, but you were also capable of helping me stride through the sixth degree of separation.

So, thank you for reconnecting me to the ones I've once lost.
Thank you for being a faithful listening ear.
And thank you for keeping my secrets.

When you walked away, I felt a little more bitter than I thought I'd be.
