Can't really see it from the pictures but yes it snowed in Manchester on the day we're all cooped up in our rooms prepping for our exams and that made me more than delighted to step out into the cold just to get a taste of snowfall (metaphorically and literally). Snow reminds me of change (of seasons) and change reminds me of how "we should concern ourselves not so much with the pursuit of happiness but the happiness of pursuit." (Hi Sally if you're reading this!) Today is 18 Jan of the new year and I've officially been here for 4 months and 12 days. That's a tad more than a third of the year flown by, and I've come to realise the joy of chasing after the changes I want to make. Because if I can't change the world, perhaps changing everything else might make things better.
