Really had me going.

It's been days, possibly more than a week, since I've slept a happy girl. Last night was the only time I did throughout this trip, and I'm thankful for the group I'm in. Thank you, for trying. For that, I'd try too.

"Let it go. They'd come back."
This time, it's different. I'm not quite sure they'd come back anymore, at least not to me.

Note-to-self:
Remember all the sadness and frustration, and let it go.

OIP Shanghai Day 18

HARROOOO I think it's been 12 days. My last post was Day 6 right? I can't recall. ~_~

Am currently cooped up in my Antarctica room with my fellow Polar bear, Trisha. Working our asses off for our assignment and I've been racking my brain since 10am.

The weather's been a PMS bitch lately. When I decide to slip on a sweater, the sun decides to fill my world with warmth. When I put on a lazy tank, Shanghai becomes the North Pole.

But I've been a PMS bitch lately as well. Not sure what's wrong with me but my days haven't been as cheery as they seem to be on my Instagram page. I miss my home and my family.

We're already more than halfway through this trip. Time has been flying by way faster than I expected it to be. This trip has been pretty educational, not academically but socially. No matter how benign how people appear to be, they still have their scary sides.

OIP Shanghai Day 6

WASSUP FROM SHANGHAI. Ok well, technically I'm now in Hangzhou for an overnight stay in one of the hotels (we got upgraded to executive rooms btw, heh).

I'm not sure if my post can be published but I'm just gonna try my luck on my Blogger iPhone app anw. *crosses fingers* I've been so deprived of all social networks. Instagram is my only savior.

This entire week has been beyond hectic, with us setting out early in the morning and returning only a couple of minutes before our curfew everyday. What more, I've to climb 6 stories up to my room a few times daily. The cozy weather and insufficiency of sleep hasn't been helping much either.

But I'm still alive. Haven't been kidnapped yet, nor have I died from food poisoning :)

& With that, I shall sign off.

Till next time I get access to free wifi,
Sarah xx

Love, Me.

Flyin' off to SH in approximately 7 hours and I'm insecure, don't know what for ~ LOL jk. Maybe it's the distance, and the time.

Not sure if I'd successfully leap over the Great (fire)Wall of China, but if I don't, this place's gonna be pretty deserted for awhile. *imagines self wiping dust off the screen and hearing crickets chirping*

Not sure what I'd expect to see or who I'd meet over on the other side either. Not sure what I'd miss out on over here. Not sure if my absence would be noticed. Not sure if anyone's absence would bother me. Not sure about many things.

Contemplating whether I should utilize my last few hours in Singapore to caress my bed or stay up to embrace the silent (and extremely warm) night.

I think I'd take the former.
Bonne nuit et adieu. x

Here's a lovely cover of an old Collin Raye classic to end the post:

Scuba Survivors.

Scuba Dive Camp - The game of Survival (literally lol)

Day 1: Pool Games (Captain's Ball), The Cove
Day 2: Treasure Hunt at Bugis, Running Man, MMM (midnight movie marathon)
Day 3: Brekkie at Mac's

Started it off with 30 odd and ended it off with half that number 'cause most of them couldn't stand sleeping in the haunted block, or they had to go back due to the clash with Teacher's Day and other CCAs. But the eventual survivors were the ones who enjoyed the most. Running Man is now my new addiction (hahah I've officially fallen to the dark side).

Really thankful for these new batches of beyond friendly divers. And of course, my badass comm. My virgin attempt at Camp Chief wasn't that bad afterall :-)
