"Learn to be heartless; you'd go further in life."
Pardon me, but wanting to go further in life is not a form of redemption for being heartless. Likewise, fearing to lose out is not an excuse to be selfish.
I cannot tolerate people who compromise on their moral values and rights, just for the sake of an alphabet or a number.
This society I live in is a far cry from what I define as "humane".
